Deposits and withdrawals: a safety checklist before you pay

The biggest real-world losses around prediction-game sites are not from losing bets — they are from deposits that were never going to come back. This checklist is about the money flow itself.

Before the first deposit

  • Know exactly which domain your account is on, and that the deposit page belongs to it.
  • Be wary if payment goes to a rotating list of personal UPI IDs or individual names.
  • Start with the smallest possible amount — treat it as a test, not an investment.

Test the withdrawal early

The single most informative action on any such site is a small withdrawal attempt soon after your first deposit. A site that pays a small amount promptly is not proven safe, but a site that delays, invents fees or demands a further deposit to “activate” withdrawals has told you everything you need to know.

Red flags that mean stop

  • “Pay a tax / fee / verification charge to release your withdrawal” — this is advance-fee fraud.
  • Withdrawal rules that change after you win.
  • Support that only responds before you deposit, not after.
  • Pressure to recharge immediately to keep a bonus or level.

If a site stops paying

Stop depositing immediately. Save screenshots of balances, transaction IDs and chats. Report the payment to your bank or UPI app's dispute channel, and in India file a complaint on the national cybercrime portal (cybercrime.gov.in) or call 1930.
